The GRDE application is specifically designed to interface with the GRDE-BLE (Bluetooth 4.0 Low Power Consumption) speaker, enabling users to remotely control various functions of nearby Bluetooth speakers.
Upon establishing a Bluetooth connection with the device, the application provides control over several features:
- FM radio activation and tuning
- Music playback, including selecting playlists, adjusting volume, and controlling playback speed
- Lighting control, such as adjusting brightness and color settings, as well as turning the light on or off
The app is compatible with select iPhone models running iOS 7.0 or later, including the iPhone 4S, 5/5S/5C, and 6/6 Plus.
Initial pairing procedure involves both Bluetooth connectivity and app interaction. For first-time setup, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings on your iPhone: select Bluetooth, turn it on, and connect to the device. A confirmation prompt will indicate successful pairing; the device will also emit a voice prompt.
- Open the GRDE Bluetooth app, select your product from the list, then click on Bluetooth/refresh icon in the top right corner. The app will attempt to connect, with a success prompt confirming the connection.
